THE
EXPEDITION
ATHENS | DELPHI | HYDRA
A curated journey into the future of Europe
by I KNOW SOMEONE & NEW NARRATIVE
THE EXPEDITION is a four-day journey into the future, designed for people who sense that the old strategic maps are no longer enough.
Between the buzzing capital, the ancient oracle of Delphi, and the art-filled island of Hydra, we create a temporary thinking space for long-horizon strategy, cultural intelligence, and future imagination.
Part workshop, part field trip, part collective reset, it is a unique format where we explore our methods together in a real-world setting:
future storytelling
speculative strategy
systems thinking
cultural foresight
Together, we step beyond quarterly logic and immediate market pressure to ask larger questions:
What becomes relevant over the next 100 years? What do you actually want to build? Which narratives are ending and which new realities are already emerging?
We can’t think of a better place to imagine the future than the place where Europe first learned to ask the right questions.
Can you?

THE ARRIVAL
Your journey begins long before you land in Athens.
We'll take care of every detail—from booking your preferred flights and arranging airport transfers to checking you into one of our favorite boutique hotels.
A carefully curated welcome package will of course be waiting in your room.
As the sun sets, we'll gather around a long table at one of our favorite restaurants. It's an evening designed for unhurried conversations, exceptional food, and getting to know the people you'll be sharing the next few days with.
And if Athens isn't quite ready to go to sleep, we'll end the night with rooftop drinks overlooking the illuminated city. It will be night before the full moon after all.
Saturday, Sept. 26
THE ORACLE
After breakfast, we leave the city behind and travel into the mountains of central Greece. The journey to Delphi takes around two hours, winding through olive groves, mountain villages, and one of the country's most breathtaking landscapes.
For more than a thousand years, Delphi was considered the center of the ancient world—a place where kings, philosophers, and generals came not to receive easy answers, but to ask better questions. That spirit still guides our day. Rather than visiting Delphi as tourists, we'll use this extraordinary setting as a space for reflection, dialogue, long-term thinking, and orientation in times of uncertainty.
Through a carefully curated series of conversations and experiences, we'll step away from the pressures of everyday business and reconnect with the questions that matter most. Throughout the day, we'll explore topics such as narrative, leadership, decision-making, and the futures we want to help create.
Expect walking conversations through the landscape, guided reflection, small-group dialogue, practical exercises, and moments of quiet contemplation. A gentle body reset session will help reconnect mind and body before we gather once more to share insights and ideas.
A traditional lunch will be served at family-owned taverna overlooking the breathtaking Delphi valley.
By early evening, we return to Athens.
After some time to unwind, we'll come together again for a special dinner—and, for those who wish, another unforgettable Athenian night.
Sunday, Sept. 27
THE EXPEDITION
Every group is different. That's why Sunday is built around a curated field expedition, tailored to the interests of the participants.
Track A — Art in Hydra
An exclusive boat ride to private collections, artist studios, and conversations with leading voices from Greece's contemporary art scene.
Track B — Family Business & Food Innovation
Behind-the-scenes access to one of Greece's most successful food companies, including conversations with entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Track C — Future Cities
An exclusive look at Ellinikon, Europe's largest urban regeneration project, with insights into architecture, city-making, and the future of urban living.
The day concludes with a farewell dinner by the sea, celebrating new friendships, fresh perspectives and the conversations that will continue long after the journey ends.
Monday, Sept. 28
THE RETURN
Every meaningful journey ends where it began, but you don't return as the same person. For those staying a little longer, Monday is an invitation to experience Athens through local eyes. No guided tours. No checklists. No tourist routes. Instead, we'll wander through neighborhoods like Kypseli and Exarchia, stop at our favorite cafés and bakeries, visit independent galleries and bookstores, and discover the people and places that quietly shape the city's creative energy.
It's a slower day. A chance to let the conversations of the past few days settle, to reflect, and to see Athens not as a destination, but as a living source of inspiration.
In the afternoon, you're free to head home—or continue the journey with us to one of the nearby Saronic islands for a few extra days of swimming, shared meals, and unhurried conversations.
Because sometimes the most important part of the journey begins when the itinerary ends.
THE EXPEDITION is intentionally small. No conference atmosphere, no generic innovation vocabulary, no performative networking. Instead: Shared meals, real talk, deep thinking, and fun experiences.
Participants leave with new perspectives, unexpected alliances, and a clearer sense of direction for the decades ahead.
Applications are open for the next editions in September 2026 and May 2027.
