REBUILDING A FRANCHISE

When we started working with the American Football franchise Berlin Thunder, the challenge wasn’t performance on the field. It was identity. We faced a franchise with history, but no clear narrative. Visibility, but no gravity. Content, but no system. So instead of starting with marketing, we began with structure, story, and power.

FROM TEAM TO PLATFORM

We repositioned Berlin Thunder as a cultural asset, a city brand,
a platform that connects sport, media, and community. From there, everything followed.

WHAT WE BUILT

1. A new strategic foundation
Clear positioning, sharper language, stronger tone. Built to resonate across audiences — from hardcore fans to partners and investors.

2. A content engine
From fragmented posting to a structured media system:
daily output, clear formats, defined roles, measurable impact.
No more chaos, but instead a system that actually scales.

3. A visual and brand reset
Cleaner, stronger, more Berlin.
Less generic sports aesthetics, more cultural relevance.
Built for merch, media, and momentum.

4. A commercial layer
Sponsoring redefined: Clear categories, clear value exchange, scalable packages. From random deals to a system partners understand – and want to be part of.

SHIFTING THE ENERGY

The real work wasn’t design. It was alignment.
Creating clarity between leadership, media, and operations.
Introducing rhythm, accountability, and shared direction.
Because brands don’t grow from ideas.
They grow from execution.

WHERE THIS GOES

This is not a rebrand. It’s a rebuild.
From a struggling franchise to a relevant, visible, and scalable platform. Berlin Thunder is becoming something rare in European sports: A team that doesn’t just play in the city but actually belongs to it.
